How do you establish an EMS system to care for 50,000 people for 2 weeks? Planning! Every few years, scouts from around the country and around the world gather to learn, grow, make new friends, have fun, and sometimes get hurt or sick.
How do you establish an EMS system for a community of 50,000 people, operating 24/7 for 2 weeks with volunteers of varying experience and skill levels from around the country. This presentation will describe the process we used and the challenges we faced as an EMS leadership team, as well as the lessons we have learned from multiple events over the last 10 years
