Christopher Confalone

Christopher Confalone serves as one of the three Pennsylvania EMS Emergency Preparedness Coordinators (EPCs). EPCs are responsible for the maintenance and deployment of statewide Department of Health assets including a fleet of 60 trailer-based resources with Casualty Collection Points, Medical Surge Equipment Cache, generators and mobile HVAC solutions. The EPCs coordinate the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania EMS Strike Team. They also provide exercise development and conduct for EMS agencies and our FEMA Whole Community partners. Christopher has served in EMS for over 30 years and progressed through the certifications of First Responder, EMT-Mast, National Registered Paramedic and Flight Paramedic (FP-C). He has held positions in EMS Education, Quality Improvement, and Operations Management. Christopher continually seeks solutions to close the gap between EMS, Emergency Management, and Preparedness Planning.
