David Stofanak, CEM, HEM, CHEP is the Regional Readiness Coordinator for the Northeast Healthcare Coalition, working with the Public Health Management Corporation.
In this role, David supports the Pennsylvania Department of Health and key stakeholders across Northeast Pennsylvania by coordinating emergency management planning, response, and recovery efforts in healthcare, as well as building capabilities across the region. Prior to this, he held emergency management roles at Einstein Health and St. Luke’s Health Systems.
With over 14 years of experience in the healthcare sector, David has been deeply involved in emergency management and safety initiatives. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Penn State and a master's degree in Disaster Medicine and Emergency Management from Jefferson University.
