Dan Bledsoe, MD, MBA is the Pennsylvania Commonwealth EMS Medical Director. Dr. Bledsoe has extensive emergency medicine, EMS, and administrative experience. In addition to bedside care, he has served on numerous committees and has worked in hospitals of all sizes, including all three hospitals in York County.
He currently serves as a Medical Team Manager for Pennsylvania Task Force One, one of 28 FEMA USAR teams, having deployed in support of disasters from Hurricane Katrina to the Surfside collapse and remains active as an agency medical director and prehospital physician.
He is proud to have been a site principal investigator and EMS coordinator for the RAMPART trial, which was conducted with York area EMS agencies, including the leading enroller in Pennsylvania, White Rose Ambulance.
Dr. Bledsoe completed medical school at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, residency at Wellspan York Hospital and Penn State University, and his Master's in business administration at the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business.
