Mike Carunchio

Mike Carunchio is a paramedic with Southern Chester County EMS in West Grove, PA and a flight paramedic with Cooper University Health System in Camden, NJ. In 2020, he started “The World’s Okayest Medic Podcast” and that has turned into a second-full time (and unpaid) job for him. He has a passion for questioning narratives, using logic and data to challenge the ubiquitous “way we’ve always done it,” and advocating for the front-line EMS provider. He is an instructor for Impact EMS and was part of the team that updated and teaches the Flight Medical Provider course, and he developed the Tactical Medical Provider course (not the K9 part - he has no experience with that…).
