Thomas Alsted

Tom is the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for the Emergency Health Services Federation. In this role, Tom is responsible for the readiness, deployment, and logistical support of DOH /HPP Preparedness assets in the central region of the Commonwealth. He is also the EMS Coordinator / Representative for the Keystone and Central Region HCC, EMS Preparedness liaison to the South Central and South-Central Mountains Regional Task Force and an active member of the South-Central Task Force AHIMT. Prior to his current role, Tom worked as a Paramedic and TEMS Element Leader for the Pennsylvania State Police SERT and York County QRT. He is also a former Municipal Police Officer and Emergency Management Coordinator for a regional EM Program within the EPZ of the Three Mile Island power generation station.
