Critical Pediatric patients can be some of the most challenging calls that any EMS provider can face. In fact, these calls make up such a small percentage of the overall volume, treating a critical pediatric can be difficult to say the least. The skills required are oft used, however must be expertly performed, nonetheless. Each provider may only have one opportunity in their entire carrier to make a true difference in these calls. This presentation will approach this topic with data, real life experience from both success and failure to better prepare each provider for tomorrow.
